im waiting (still waiting) to see the The Bruno Movie by the fantastic Sacha Baron Cohen.
i know its probably not everyones taste but i think Sacha Baron Cohen is hilarious.
i didnt see "Borat" in the cinema because i wasnt really that intrested but when i did finally watch it (on DVD) i couldnt belive what i was seeing & i just couldnt stop laughing.
so this time around i definitely want to see "Bruno" on the big screen.

Hana Yori Dango~

just finished watching Hana Yori Dango epi5.

after finishing "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" a few weeks ago i felt the need for more Oguri Shun so i gave HYD a go.
i knew HYD was a popular drama but i get easily irritated (& then bored/switch off) with the nice sweet, pure school girl who through her innocence & honesty changes the local bad boy routine/storyline... i thought HYD would be like that so i gave it a miss even though Shun was in it.
BUT i tried it. i DL'd the 1st ep & it started out as i expected but then Makino showed some character & then @ the end of the ep punched Domyoji (which i was willing her to do. then she did it... awsome. go girl) so it had my interest!
so im on epi5 now & ive even warmed to Domyoji's character (the fact that he likes her so much but still wants to kill her @ times XD).
i went all fangirly over Oguri shun's character Rui eating his apples in a weird way. *CUTE~~~!* & even though he went off for a bit it looks like hes back in the next ep.

[a few of my pet peeves about what ive seen so far: 1.the dress Shizuka put Makino in @ the party. it was alright but why the fluffy bit @ the top. i wanted to rip that off then she would of been perfect. 2. naughty girl Sakurako's naughy girl laugh when she was being all naughty with the little knife! (i say naughty because she isnt bad enough to be evil. shes just a bit of a mental) you hear that kind of laugh for alot of women i jdramas. it just doesnt sound real... i knida get the feeling that actress doesnt really find whatever shes laughing about that funny! XD]

im only on epi5 & ive got the rest of season 1 to get through then season 2 & i know they made a movie so i'll have to keep an eye out for that.

with my laptop dying on me (yes this time it really did die. the guy had to take it away to fix it) & me having to use other sources to get my drama fix its goning to take me a while to watch all of HYD. i had to clear a whole load of movies & dramas i had off the home PC (i kept Kisarazu Cats Eye, Dear Friends [the movie] & the last 2 epis of PGSM [still cant bring myself to delete them ~ PGSM forever! O.o])
im behind on Binbo Danshi now T-T.

i saw "In Bruges" the other day & really enjoyed it.

it wasnt what i was expecting but i really did like it.

if anyone wants to comment on any of the dramas i mentioned in this post please do.
everyones probably already watched HYD but im just starting & conversation on jdramas is always welcome

"Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" fans will know theres a special in the works. more hana kimi goodness for the masses. i found it sooo hard to dislike any of the characters in this drama. OscarxHibari is MADLOVE!
ep2 of "Binbo Danshi" is subbed. i'll be watching that this weekend.

Keiko Kitagawa is LOvE
entry!

i found out about Keiko right back in 03 when i heard there was going to be a Live Action SailorMoon
i was pleased when i saw such a pretty actress would be playing my favourite manga character.

when i finally got to buy & watch PGSM i was NOT disappointed.
for all the cheesy bits & bad "special" affects in PGSM i loved it
& Keiko portrayed a perfect Hino Rei for me
thus begging my love of KK & i started following her work

Keiko was (& i guess kinda she still is) a model
she was a regualer fashionable model for japanese "Seventeen" Magazine after(& during) PGSM
she did the modeling for a few years till her contract came to a end then she moved on to focus on her acting & education.

anyway i'll be here for ages if i go on giving you a bio! just click on any of the links in this entry to find out All the stuff shes done.

Keiko does an awsome job in this movie. she acts so naturally & powerfully.
it made me teary eyed quite a few times. i got lost in it.
it just really confirmed for me the talent KK has & i will contine to follow & love her work.

Ayaka Komatsu
is a good friend of KK's. they meet up in their free time & chill out.
Ayaka was Keikos co-star in PGSM (where they met) & she played Sailor V!
they were great together in PGSM having kinda their own storyline & close relationship & i think its great that they're such good friends in real life...
& theyre SO cute together!! XD

^ what a BAD scan this is. it was in a really full (of all sorts of things stuck in & sewn on to it) sketchbook & it didnt lay flat on the scanner. i made it worse by making it darker ... fool that i am!!
it looks better on a full view (note the tin foil from the other page wrapped over on one side haha gawd!)

i wouldnt really call the manga Seraphic Feather H manga ... maybe a little ecchi lol nothing wrong with being a little ecchi.



the jist of the storyline is power hungry government & other organisations, alien technology, unsuspecting people with paranormal abilities, U.N “super agents”, scientists & soldiers!
To be honest… im still not 100% with whats going on in the storyline but I do know I want/need to buy volume 6 when I get a chance!

i have a folder on my lappie dedicated entirely to Koide Mieko manga.
what can i say... i think im a fan (atic!).

it all started with Yatteraneeze! [ manga by Koh Akizuki and Mieko Koide]
it was a mixture of the angsty storyline & Mieko's smiple, pretty art... i could never wait for the next chapter release.

at this point im gonna say a huge thank-you to
doki - doki! scanlations
they have & are scanlating alot of Meiko Koide manga
[please visit them. you'll be happy you did ...! lol]

her manga Koi no Tsumeato ...
i usually think after the 1st volume of a manga you can kinda tell/see where the storys going
i really cant with Koi no Tsumeato. who will Kou end up with >.< grah! i dont know Mieko's not letting anything slip... or she just cant make upher mind (...im such a lame fangirl XD)

Kuchibiruni amai Doku is the most recent Meiko Koide Manga i downloaded.
only two chapters have been released so far but Ooooh its looking tasty! haha
Kuchibiruni amai Doku is interwoven with Koi no Yamai ni Tsukeru Kusuri characters appear in both.
but i think the Koi no Yamai ni Tsukeru Kusuri storyline is before Kuchibiruni amai Doku's.
